Roses have become a customary gift to show love, honour, faith, devotion, and beauty. To celebrate this special day, Fugetsu has sourced the freshest Tasmanian Salmon sourced locally from sustainable farms to create our feature dish of beautiful Sashimi Salmon Roses.
Robert Shin the owner and chef of Fugetsu says, “This Mother’s Day, we wanted to say don’t just give typical chocolate and flowers, instead give something that is more memorable. With that in mind, we wanted to create a new dish that connects with what a traditional gift is, with what we love to eat while embodying simplicity. The Japanese style of eating emphasises a food's natural flavours. The Sashimi Salmon Roses encapsulates this with beauty.”
Fugetsu combines sushi train and Izakaya-style restaurant is the perfect place for families with older and younger children with their bite-size portions perfect for sharing, or feeding little ones. With a sushi train positioned at the heart of the restaurant, it has become a great way to keep them entertained! The sushi train adds fun to eating by combining the novelty of a revolving sushi restaurant and small colourful plates of food.
